There are two things people mean by this question: how long the diffuser runs on one charge, and how long a bottle of oil lasts. Here is how each works.
How long does the battery last?
The PurePod home diffuser is rechargeable by USB-C and runs for up to 70 hours on one charge. Because it is cordless, you can place it on a shelf or in a hallway and only plug it in when it needs charging.
How long does a bottle of oil last?
It depends on how you use it. These things make the biggest difference:
- Intensity setting. The diffuser has three settings. A lower setting uses oil more slowly.
- Room size. A small room needs less scent than an open-plan space.
- Type of diffuser. A waterless diffuser uses pure oil rather than oil diluted in water, so the scent is stronger and you use oil faster than with a water-based model.
- How often you run it. Running it for a few hours in the evening uses less than running it all day.
What is in the box?
Each diffuser comes with a USB-C cable, a how-to booklet, a spare 10ml bottle and spare straws. It has a 6 month warranty.
Tips to get more from your oil
- Start on the lowest setting and only turn it up if you need to.
- Run it when you are in the room rather than all day.
- Keep it away from direct heat so the oil stays at its best.
